Size Guide

Every size on this page is listed with height, chest, waist and hip, in inches and centimetres, plus US / EU / UK / Japan / Korea / China conversions — for adults, youth, children, toddlers and babies.

Short answer: Jerseys run true to size: order the size you normally wear and match it to the chest measurement first. Between two sizes, or wearing it over a hoodie, take one size up. Full charts below cover adults XS–4XL, youth 6–15, children 2–5 and babies 0–24 months. Not sure? Send us your height and three measurements and we will pick for you.

How to measure

Every measurement on this page is a body measurement, not a garment measurement. Each jersey is cut with a few centimetres of ease on top, so the garment itself will measure a little larger than your body. Measure over light clothing or directly against the skin.

  1. Chest. Stand relaxed, wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest and keep it level under your arms. This is the measurement that matters most on a jersey.
  2. Waist. Measure around your natural waistline, just above the navel, breathing normally.
  3. Hip. Feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape level all the way round.
  4. Height. Stand barefoot against a wall, look straight ahead, and measure from the floor to the top of your head.
  5. Compare. Match all three girth measurements against the chart. If they land in different sizes, fit your chest first, then check the hip is covered.

Women's fit is shaped through the waist with a narrower shoulder, using the same chest grading as the unisex chart. If you normally buy a unisex jersey and want the same feel, keep the same letter size.

Youth sizes (ages 6–15)

Youth jerseys are graded on real kids' measurements rather than scaled-down adult sizing, so use this chart instead of converting from adult sizes. Age bands are kept to two years — measure height and chest wherever you can, because children of the same age can differ by a full size.

Still growing? If the child is near the top of an age band, or you want the jersey to last more than one season, take the next size up. A jersey that is slightly roomy looks fine on game day; one that is too small does not.

Children and toddler sizes (ages 2–5)

One-year age bands, because a two-year-old and a three-year-old are not the same shape. Chest and height together are far more reliable than age alone.

Infant and baby sizes (0–24 months)

Baby jerseys and rompers are sized by age in months, but length (height) is the measurement that decides it. If your baby is above average length for their age, move up one band.

Reading the China column: the format is height/chest, so 175/92A means a body height of about 175 cm with a 92 cm chest. Japan: LL, 3L and 4L are the local equivalents of XL, 2XL and 3XL. Korea: the number is chest circumference in centimetres.

Fit notes

Lightweight fan jersey
Relaxed through the chest and shoulders with a straight hem. Works on its own or over a tee — take your usual size.
Replica jersey
Cut closer to the on-field shape with a trimmer body. Take one size up if you prefer a looser fit or plan to layer.
Over a hoodie
A hoodie adds roughly 5–8 cm of chest bulk. Take one size up so the shoulders do not pull.
Women's fit
Shaped through the waist with a narrower shoulder, in the same chest sizing as the unisex chart.
Youth, children and infant
Graded on real age-band measurements, not scaled-down adult sizing.

Between two sizes?

  • Chest is the deciding measurement. Fit the chest first, then check that the waist and hip ranges also cover you.
  • Prefer a loose, layered look? Size up.
  • Prefer a neat, close fit? Size down.
  • Buying for a child? Size up — growing room beats a perfect fit for one season.

Not sure which size? Let us pick for you

Size charts not your thing? No problem. Email cfjservice@outlook.com with your height and your chest, waist and hip measurements (inches or centimetres, whatever you use), plus the jersey you are looking at, and we will come back with the size we would order for you. Include your usual fit preference — snug, regular or roomy — and we will factor that in too.

Don't see your size in stock?

Sizes sell through at different speeds. If the size you need is sold out, email us with the jersey and the size: we can often restock it, and for many styles we can also arrange a custom size made to your measurements — custom orders take 3–7 business days to produce. Just ask — it costs nothing to send an email. For everything custom (name, number and made-to-measure sizing), see the Custom College Jerseys page.

Frequently asked questions

Do your jerseys run true to size?

Yes. Our jerseys are graded to standard US sizing, so order the size you normally wear and check it against the chest measurement in the size chart. Size up only if you are between sizes or want a looser fit. If it still is not right, size exchanges are free within 30 days.

Should I size up for a jersey?

Size up if you are between sizes, want a loose fit, or plan to wear the jersey over a hoodie or sweatshirt. For a jersey worn on its own or over a t-shirt, your usual size gives a clean fit.

How do I measure my chest for a jersey?

Stand relaxed, wrap a soft tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, keep the tape level under your arms and snug but not tight, then read the number. Compare it with the chest column of the size chart.

Are your size charts body measurements or garment measurements?

Body measurements. Every jersey is cut with a few centimetres of ease on top of the listed chest, waist and hip, so the garment will measure slightly larger than your body.

How do I pick a size for a child or teenager?

Measure height and chest rather than relying on age, since children of the same age can differ by a full size. Match both to the youth or children chart, and take the next size up if they are at the top of an age band or still growing.

Do you have plus sizes?

Yes. Men's and unisex sizes run XS to 4XL, with chest measurements up to about 160 cm (63 in), and each size is also shown in US numeric, EU, UK, Japan, Korea and China equivalents.

My measurements fall into two different sizes. Which do I order?

Fit your chest first, since a jersey is cut to sit across the shoulders and chest, then check that the waist and hip ranges also cover you. If the hip is the larger measurement, size up.

I don't know how to choose a size. Can you help?

Yes. Email us your height and your chest, waist and hip measurements, plus the jersey you want, and we will recommend the size we would order for you — snug, regular or roomy, your call.

The size I need is out of stock. What can I do?

Email us with the jersey and the size you need. We can often restock it, and for many styles we can also arrange a custom size made to your measurements — see the Custom College Jerseys page for how custom orders work.

Boise State Broncos Orange Lightweight Collegiate Football Fashion Jersey - Youth

You're looking at a Boise State Broncos football jersey in Orange. Fan version, youth cut, runs true to size, S (Age 8-10), M (Age 10-12), L (Age 12-13), XL (Age 13-15).

What you're really getting

We've watched these come back through the returns desk. The ones that come back are almost always the wrong size, not the wrong jersey — which tells you something.

Wash it, hang it, wear it again. That loop is the entire design brief.

Size and cut

Sleeves end mid-bicep on most adults, which keeps the shoulder print visible instead of half hidden.

How it feels on

Soft-hand finish, flat seams. Nothing rubs at the shoulder or under the arm, which is the usual complaint with cheap fan jerseys.

Color and detail work

Deep where it should be, bright where it should be. The panels are finished so the jersey still looks like itself in December.

Hem and cuffs are double-stitched, which is where cheap jerseys start coming apart first.

Game-day uses

  • Saturday kickoff at the stadium, or the same thing on a couch three time zones away
  • tailgate with the rest of your Broncos crew
  • Tailgates that start earlier than anyone admits
  • Campus days, club sports, pickup games
  • Road trips to away games
  • Watch parties and alumni meetups

Laundry notes

Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, inside out, with similar colors. Hang it to dry and skip the dryer — heat is what dulls printed graphics fastest. Cool iron on the reverse if it needs pressing.

In the parcel

Your jersey, a care card, and the order number you'll need if you want to swap the size.

Questions fans ask

My size is sold out. What now?

Email us with the jersey and the size. Most styles can be restocked, and plenty can be made to order in your size.

Is it warm enough for a cold stadium?

On its own, no — it's a breathable jersey, not a thermal layer. Most fans put a hoodie under it or a jacket over it in November.

Do the colors match the photos?

Close. Any difference is the usual screen-versus-fabric gap, not a different product.

Does it run true to size?

Yes. Order your normal size, and size up only if you're between sizes or layering over a hoodie.

How should I wash it?

Machine wash cold, inside out, then hang dry. Skip the dryer and don't iron over the graphics — heat is what fades prints.

When will my order ship?

Within 1–3 business days, tracked. Full detail is on the shipping policy page.

Not sure about the size?

Send us your height and three measurements at cfjservice@outlook.com and we'll tell you which one we'd order. Full charts are on the size guide.
